The Weijin and Jian Cooking Show

This is a video from last November. We made the cupcakes it was Jian's birthday and she was going to bring the cupcakes to class.

It was cool making this video. Jian was really goofy at the time. Look how long my hair is and how short Jian's is.

back from Victoria

Once upon a time, Weijin asked her dad if she could go to victoria and he said....YES!

So it all began 2 days ago when we arrived at the ferry terminal and kissed the car good-bye. As we were floating, we saw dolphins and seals . When we got there, we took the bus downtown and realized that we couldn't check in until 3:00, so we walked around and saw Victoria's Chinatown, and saw the flea market and an Indian celebration. It was loads of fun. We also heard the carillion tower; it has 61 bells.

It was time to go to the 3 star hotel. It had no pool but it was fun. It had 2 queen beds and a t.v. We went for noodles.

My sleep was okay. The next day we had breakfast at the hotel. We walked and walked and saw an awsome museum. We saw a huge wooly mammoth and dinasoar poop and bear poop and a turtles shell up close. Do you know that a turtle's rib is part of its shell.

We also saw canned bugs, killed birds and then we saw the human history and the first nations people and ceder root hats and boats and the old fashion theater. It was cool. We saw queen victoria's home (in the museum) and it was fun.

We left the museum and walked and we were all so hungry that we had fights and hissy fits. Mom and dad were arguing about where we should go and we finaly went to the mall. We were all so happy that we didn't have to bite some one's head off. We walked to the bus and onto the ferry and got to the car. I was sooooo tired that i fell asleep on the trip home

Well, that's all! Bye!

gross but delicious

These might look like poop but.......
they're delicious........

1 cup rolled oats
1 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup chopped chocolate easter bunny - we didn't have any chocolate chips!
2 tablespoon corn syrup
1/2 cup butter
1 egg
6 chopped apricots

1. Preheat oven to 315 F
2. Place oats, flour, sugar in large bowl

3. Put syrup and butter in pan over low heat and melt
4. Mix baking soda with water and add to syrup.
5. Pour over dry ingredients and mix together

6. Add chocolate chunks - I added the chocolate to the dry ingredients and they all melted away!
7. Stir in one egg - mom said the dough was too crumbly so we added an egg
8. Roll into balls and put onto baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes - this is where they really look like poop!
